Our event Convergence 2012 - Commerce Students' Meet attended by nearly 300 M.Com & B.Com students at our college on 25-01-2011. 

FORENSIC ACCOUNTING IN ARRESTING FRAUDULENT PRACTICES


There are enoromous opportunity awaiting commerce graduates in Banking, Insurance, Financial Services and Capital Market sectors said by the Chief Guest Mr.Prabhakar Kammula a noted Charted Accountant at the inaugural function of Convergence 2012, Commerce Students’ Meet held at Siddhartha Auditorium by P.G.Department of Commerce and Business Administration, P.B.Siddhartha College of Arts and Science.  He made reference about Financial Frauds which are happening at great occurrence in the corporate world today, which paved the way for new concepts like Forensic Accounting.  In identifying the fraudulent accounting practices strength financial reporting plays an important role.  He also said what human mind can think and conceives can be achieved.  Conceptual skills and interpersonal skills plays an important role in shaping the personality of an individual. 


Chalasani Dutt, Convener, P.G.Centre said that Commerce student will have an edge in conceptualizing complex issues.
